An idea for the being still is for me, sitting outside in my backyard with a hot cup of tea. Sometimes I will play very soft praise music ( no words sometimes). I like to listen to the nature around me so most of the time it’s just me, my tea and I close my eyes and listen to nature.
I ask God to come sit with me and talk to me about what’s on His heart. Then I tune into what He wants to say to me. I am practicing this and I really am loving it!!
When I can’t sit outside I do find it harder to not let my mind wander lol

Maybe I’ll try that today. I think I try too hard to be physically still and focus. And yes outdoors might help.
